Question: Can I use the NVRC fields to support my commercial business for product testing or demonstrations?
Answer: No, our field rules and lease agreements limit field use to hobby and educational activities only. An alternative is to become a NVRC member, as long as you and your aircraft follow the club safety rules, AMA guidelines for size/ weight, and operating procedures you would be able to fly like all our other members.
For fields open to commercial sUAS testing, we suggest contacting the Virginia Economic Development Partnership who have information regarding FAA designated sUAS test sites and other partnership opportunities in Virginia.
